About Peter Bramhall

  • Biography

    Born in Bridgewater, Vermont, he became a versatile artist working as a sculptor in steel, creating sumi ink drawings and blowing modernist glass forms. He also writes poetry.

    He first began working in glass at the University of Wisconsin in 1964, and in 1967 and 1968, he attended the Penland School of Crafts for sessions in glass blowing.

    He has also taught glass blowing, drawing, and sculpture at Earlham College's Vermont Studies Program, and in 1974, he helped found Craft Professionals of Vermont.
