    Peter Randall-Page was born in Essex in 1954. He studied at Bath Academy of Art and worked as a mason at Wells Cathedral, gaining an understanding of medieval masonry. Influenced by sculptors like Barry Flanagan and Isamu Noguchi, he traveled to Italy to study marble carving in Carrara. Randall-Page's working practice is expressed through his sculptures like Fingers and Thumbs, Husk II, Stone Maquette I, and Night Song, which explore themes of nature, geometry, and the human mind.
