    Paul Philibert-Charrin was a wonderful painter from the famous "Sanzites" (1947-1950). It is even he who finds the name of the group, which claimed the freedom of Pierre Bonnard (1867-1947), and among which we find a cohort of talents - and not the least - Jean Fusaro, André Cottavoz and Jacques Truphémus. The three musketeers, were four, “Charrin included”.


    Between Lyon and Paris, he has an impressive homogeneous and at the same time diversified career. He is a "jack of all trades", succeeding in everything he undertakes, especially his poetic and facetious collages, his whispered and mastered oils, his caricatural drawings (in connection with the war), his whimsical animal sculptures...
