Seitz worked as a freelance commercial graphic artist and later relocated to Hamburg in 1928. He became more involved in painting from 1960 and became an artistically freelance in Hamburg-Ohlstedt from 1965. Seitz was a member of the Bund Deutscher Graphiker. He passed away in Hamburg in 1982.
