    Quvianatuliak Parr (1930 – 1998)

    A prominent printmaker, draftsman and sculptor, and a member of family of important Canadian Inuit artists, Quvianatuliak Parr (aka: Kovinatilliak Parr; aka: Kovinatilliah Parr; aka: Kovinaktilliak Parr; aka: disc number* E71024) was born on southern Baffin Island, Nunavut, Canada and lived most of his life in or near Cape Dorset, Nunavut. His works have been included in major exhibitions of Inuit art and are in the permanent collections of several museums. (1)(2)(3)

    His mediums included engraving, stonecut* print, serigraph and stone. His subjects included figures, Arctic animals, and Inuit genre (e.g. hunting, fishing, camping, mother and child, etc.). His style is Inuit Art*. (4)
