Ram Bali Chauhan was born in 1976. Ram Bali Chauhan studied sculpture at the College of Art, New Delhi, and completed his post graduate degree there in 2003.

Chauhan has developed a unique artistic language that provokes a heightened response and participation from the viewer. Experimenting with the arrangement of lines and forms in his works, he consciously isolates specific contours and configurations of interest and magnifies these, creating a sensation of immediacy. Animals as well as human skeletons are recurrent motifs in his compositions.
