    Randy Solon, also known as Randy 'Anloi' Solon, was born in 1971 in the Philippines. He is known for his Hyperrealism paintings of animals, with some works featuring a bluish sheen. One of his artworks depicts a live white bird seemingly trapped inside the ribcage of a wolf, expressing the desire and yearning for freedom. Solon won the Grand Prize in the 2006-2007 National Telephone Directory Cover competition and was a finalist in the Shell national students painting competition in 2005, 2006, and 2007. He earned a BFA in Painting from the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines and a Certificate in Advertising from the Philippines Women's University in Manila.
