René Martín is a prominent Cuban painter whose work focuses on the landscape style, mainly in the tropical landscape, which is characterized by the constant use of metaphors and symbols through the inclusion of elements that create a surreal atmosphere.

He started his career at a very young age, while while studying Architecture and Graphic Design at the School of Fine Arts of San Alejandro in Havana, he sold his landscape paintings in public squares and for commissions to individuals, until finally he had the opportunity to present himself in different exhibitions with great success.
