None of this however, has changed the man who distances himself from the commercial side of life to give his all to the joy of painting.

Sensitive to the moods of nature and climatic changes, he delights in waiting, sometimes for hours, for the right light that he needs to capture for his paintings. In addition to his home territory in Derbyshire and the Yorkshire borders, he travels widely and paints scenes from Scotland and Cornwall.
