    Spanish painter, Ricardo Viladoms studied at the San Jorge School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, ??where he was a student of Josep Mongrell, and at the San Fernando School in Madrid. In 1927 he traveled to Paris and Amsterdam to further his studies. He excelled in still life and landscape painting, and specialized in the high Aragonese Pyrenees and the Ordesa Valley.

    He attended the National Fine Arts Exhibitions regularly, where he won the third medal in 1930 with a work entitled Still Life. He also exhibited at the Barcelona Spring Salon and at the Venice Biennale*. In 1931 he founded, with his name, an academy in Barcelona.
