    Richard Albitz was a German painter known for his landscape works. He studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule Charlottenburg from 1904 to 1907, where he was a pupil of Hans Hartig.


    In 1910 and 1911, Albitz was associated with the Berlin Secession, a movement that championed modern artistic expression. In 1913, he became a member of the Verein Berliner Künstler, further establishing his presence in Germany’s artistic circles. That same year, he was awarded the Golden State Medal in Vienna, recognizing his artistic achievements.
