    Robert Emerson Everett OIP, PSA, PSC, RCAF (1920 - 1994) (1)

    A painter and educator, Robert Emerson Everett, was born in Bracebridge, Ontario lived most of his life there and died there. He was Chairman of the Muskoka Arts & Crafts Association (1971), President of the Ontario Institute of Painters* (1975, a member since 1964), a member of the Pastel Society of Canada and an associate member of the Pastel Society of America*.

    His mediums included oil paint and pastels. His primary subjects were landscapes of Algonquin Park and the Muskoka area near where he lived. His style could be described as Naturalism*, Plein Air Painting* or Realism*. The askART auction results have several excellent illustrations of his work.
