He trained with prominent artists such as Victor Noël, Emile Salkin, and Paul Delvaux, which influenced his artistic development. Dudant initially worked in a strictly figurative style before transitioning to a more linear approach and eventually embracing abstraction. In 1953, he was awarded the prestigious "Jeune peinture belge" prize for his artistic achievements. Dudant later became a professor at La Cambre in 1976 and left a lasting legacy with his monumental fresco in the Parc metro station in Brussels.
