Roger Von Gunten was born in 1933. Before arriving in Mexico in 1957, Roger Von Gunten studied Painting and Graphic Design at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich and spent a season in Spain; however, it was in our country where he trained as an artist professionally to join the group of La Ruptura, also for his love of Mexico, his people and culture decided to be nationalized in 1980. In 1993 he was accepted as a member of the National System of Art Creators, Since then, he has been a constant promoter of Mexican artistic and cultural development.
