Rosa Serra is a Spanish sculptor born in an unknown year. She discovered her passion for sculpture under the guidance of Lluís Curós, her first teacher. She moved to Olot in 1952, where she currently resides and works. She studied drawing, painting, ceramics, and engraving at the Lluís Carbonell Academy and the School of Fine Arts in Olot. She held her first solo exhibition in 1972 and has been dedicated to sculpture since 1973. She received the sculpture prize at the III Bilbao Biennial in 1976 and was commissioned by the International Olympic Committee to create sculptures for the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games.
