    In 1916, Rudolf Ausleger met the later painters of the ‘November Group’ in the circle of Georg Tappert, Karl Jakob Hirsch and Lothar Homeyer. He studied at the National Art School with Tappert and Bernhard Hasler. In the 1920s, Ausleger oriented to Synthetic Cubism. During the Second World War, much of his work was destroyed and he was classified as ‘degenerate’ by the Nazis. Ausleger taught in several Berlin universities until the late 1960s. (cko)...
