Russell Young was born in 1960 in the north of England. He studied photography and graphic design at the Chester Art College and began his career as a photographer, portraying mainly famous personalities of his time. In 2001, he started to paint for private matters, however two years later the he held his first solo exhibition and it led him to success. His works can be found today in reputable private as well as public collections, these include artists, Hollywood stars and the President Barak Obama.
