    Painter and engraver, Santiago Serrano trained between Madrid and Paris, obtaining scholarships such as the Juan March and the Ministry of Culture. He made his solo debut at the Amadís gallery in Madrid, and that same year he appeared in Buenos Aires with a personal show held at the Snob gallery.

    Since then, he has held important solo exhibitions in Spain and Switzerland, in venues such as the Fúcares (1979), the Egam (since 1983), the Soledad Lorenzo (1992) or the Juana Mordó (1994) in Madrid or the Joan Prats in Barcelona (1988 ), and museums such as the Español de Arte Contemporáneo in Madrid (1981), the Camón Aznar in Zaragoza (2001) and the Városi Müvészeti de Gÿor (Hungary, 2003).
