    Shalom Sebba, born in 1897 in East Prussia, was an artist engaged in painting, set designing, and installation art. He acquired his artistic training in Knysberg and Berlin, spent time in France between 1929-1930, and immigrated to Israel in 1936. Sebba was considered one of the most prominent pre-Canaanite artists in Israeli painting tradition. He studied optical problems as part of the "new objectivity" theory and later presented compositions on a new view of objects in space. Sebba's works included monumental pieces in various cities and a series of enigmatic collages created from 1964 until his death in 1975. He aimed to unite modernity with the "real" and combine artistic autonomy with a commitment to the "outside world."...
