Shalom Sebba, born in 1897 in East Prussia, was an artist engaged in painting, set designing, and installation art. He acquired his artistic training in Knysberg and Berlin, spent time in France between 1929-1930, and immigrated to Israel in 1936. Sebba was considered one of the most prominent pre-Canaanite artists in Israeli painting tradition. Sebba was considered one of the most prominent pre-Canaanite artists in Israeli painting tradition.
