    Stanislaw Kopystynski was a Polish artist born in 1893 in Jaroslaw. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow under Jacek Malczewski and Stanislaw Debicki. Kopystynski made his debut in 1917 at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Warsaw and participated in the International Woodcut Exhibition in 1933. He was known for his paintings and graphics. He passed away in 1969 in Wroclaw.

    He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow (1912-1914) in the studio of Jacek Malczewski, and then under the supervision of Stanislaw Debicki (1917-1921).
