About Susan Ogle

  • Biography

    An award-winning graphic designer, painter, and illustrator, Susan Ogle is a regionalist artist in Alaska. She studied architecture at the University of Cincinnati and painting at Heron School of Art. In 1987, after fifteen years in Anchorage, Ogle moved to the town of Cordova, Alaska, to devote herself full-time to painting.

    Birding has been one of her lifelong passions, and the birds of the Copper River Delta and Prince William Sound offered her many subjects of study.
