    Sylwester Ambroziak is a Polish artist who graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1989. He studied under professors Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz, Stanislaw Kulon, and Grzegorz Kowalski. Ambroziak's work is influenced by the New Expression, as well as folk and prehistoric art.

    He is known for his large-scale wood carvings and has exhibited his work in joint presentations with expressionist painter Eugeniusz Markowski. In 1997, Ambroziak received a distinction for his sculpture Cain and Abel at the exhibition "Sacred" in Czestochowa.
