    Teresa Pagowska (Warsaw, 12 June 1926 - Warsaw, 7 February 2007) studied painting and wall techniques at the PWSSP (Academy of Fine Arts) in Poznan in the studio of Waclaw Taranczewski, where she graduated in 1951. In the years 1950-1964 she worked at the PWSSP in Gdansk.

    She participated in the restaurant of the Gdansk Old Town (1953). In 1958, Piotr Potworowski's painting and personality influenced her. In 1964, she moved to Warsaw. In the years 1971-1973 she was employed at the PWSSP in Lódz, from 1973 she worked at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1988 she obtained the title of full professor.
