  • Biography

    Terry Fenton, former director of the Edmonton Art Gallery (1972 - 1987), the A.C. Leighton Foundation, Calgary (1987 - 1993) and the Mendel Art Gallery, Saskatoon (1993 - 1997), has been a dedicated landscape painter for over 30 years.

    His current paintings reflect an affection for the prairies, capturing the big skies and changing light of the Western Canadian landscape.

    In addition to numerous private and corporate collections in Canada the US and England, his work is represented in the collections of the Canada, Council Art Bank, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Mendel Art Gallery, Saskatoon, the Edmonton Art Gallery and the Norman Mackenzie Art Gallery, Regina.
