About Thayne Logan

    Born in Joplin, MO on Oct. 14, 1900. Logan moved to Oregon at an early age and was educated at the Universities of Utah and Oregon. He studied painting with Leon Keller and Sidney Bell. While based in Portland, he made painting trips to California and was active on the Monterey Peninsula in the 1930s. Logan died in Portland on Jan. 31, 1991.
