In the late 1970s Reinhold and his companions Erwin Bohatsch, Siegfried Anzinger, Alfred Klinken and Hubert Schmalix founded the 'Neuen Wilden', a leading group of avant-garde artists. His works have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Austria and abroad. Examples of his artistic output are included in public collections such as the Albertina and the Galerie Belvedere in Vienna, the Museum der Moderne in Salzburg and the Lentos Kunstmuseum in Linz.
