    Torsten Esbjörnsson is an important representative of Swedish concrete art. Esbjörnsson was edducated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and at Mogens Andersén's opposition art school.

    The discovery of Mondrian and Kandinsky led Torsten Esbjörnsson to take the moped to Paris in 1960, where he socialized with artists and attended openings, lectures and discussion evenings.

    Esbjörnsson's paintings are characterized by strong colors and winding geometric compositions that entice the viewer to step into each individual painting.
