During and after high school, she and her father, Ron Lindholm bought over 100 pieces of antique art and restored them for sale. She then opened an antiques art gallery and worked her way through night school at Cape Cod Community College. She studied Restoration and Restoration Theory at the Scuola Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy, and upon her return, Tracy continued restoring paintings as well as painting.
