She met artists such as Alberto Giacometti and Germaine Richier in Paris as well as Henry Moore and Kenneth Armitage in London, which had an influence on her work. In 1954 she received the award for sculpture of the city of Berlin. Her sculptures are characterized by the struggle with the human figure – she focused on the presentation of couples and groups.
