    Abstract pattern painter and public works artist Valerie Jaudon was born in 1945 in Greenville, Mississippi and lives and works in New York City. The artist has received numerous commissions for murals, tile designs, courtyards and fountains, including a wall mural for the Atlanta, Georgia City Hall; a ceiling mural in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania INA building; the Blue Pools Courtyard at the Birmingham Museum of Art, Mississippi; and New York City works including a paving plan for Police Plaza at the Civic Center; and metal fences for the Metropolitan Transit Authority.
