    Vincente Rojo was born in 1932 in Barcelona.


    His father worked with the Catalan Communist Party and at the end of the Spanish Civil War and faced with the risk involved in being in Spain, they were forced to travel to Mexico in search of refuge and new opportunities, living in the country since 1949.


    In 1950, Vicente Rojo joined La Esmeralda and in 1958 he made his first exhibition with great success. Since then, his work as a painter and graphic designer, as well as his indefatigable intellectual work, have been an essential contribution to Mexican culture.


    He was co-founder of Ediciones Era, a Mexican publisher created in 1960 and of which he was artistic director until the year 2000. ...
