    Viktor Ivanovich Ufimtsev (1899-1964) was a painter and graphic artist.

    Viktor Ivanovich Ufimtsev was the People's Artist of the Uzbek SSR.

    In 1917 he studied in courses of drawing and painting at the Omsk Institute of Practical Knowledge.

    Ufimtsev worked as an artist at the Red Army Club. He was a member of the Artists Section of the Union of Rabis (1920).

    Ufimtsev was the organizer of the Omsk group of artists "Black Three" and a member of the Society of Artists "New Siberia".

    From 1923 he lived and worked in Uzbekistan and taught at the Tashkent Art School.
