    The landscapes of this artist are rendered with extreme elegance and delicate vibrations of light and color, and often matched with those of Charles-Francois Daubigny. After attending the Gymnasium, Vittorio wanted to devote himself to studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Pisa.

    Later he specialized~ in the landscape with the painter Alexandre Calame in Geneva, where he met Antonio Fontanesi. His most signicant experience took place in the studio of Corot where he trained as a landscape painter of merit, characterized by a refined and subtle sensibility, steeped in lyricism staff. His painter's activity is divided into three parts: first 'calamista', then 'naturalist' and later 'individualistic.'
