    Vitus Staudacher (1850-1925) was a German painter and violinist known for his landscape views of forests, meadows, and villages in the Baden region. He studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe from 1877 to 1882 and later gained recognition for his paintings sold to spa guests from Baden-Baden to Lake Constance. Staudacher, along with his friend Victor Puhonny, painted outdoors in natural light, pioneering light and lighting techniques in Baden open-air painting. His works were exhibited in various cities including Karlsruhe, Düsseldorf, Munich, and Freiburg.
