    Waclaw Wasowicz studied art in Warsaw from 1909 to 1914 at the Wojciech Gerson Drawing School under Milosz Kotarbinski. He also studied at the School of Fine Arts in Kraków under Ignacy Pienkowski. In 1914, he also studied with Jacek Malczewski. He traveled to France, the Netherlands, Italy, and the Balkans.

    He actively participated in the artistic life of interwar Warsaw. He exhibited widely and held numerous social and organizational roles within the visual arts community. He was a member of the Formists and Rhythm and Ryt groups. He also worked in woodcuts, painting on ceramics and fabrics, interior decoration, and applied art projects.
