    German landscape, portrait and figure painter, Walter Einbeck, 1890 Magdeburg to 1968 Munich), was first in 1905 in apprenticeship; then he was a wholesale clerk in Magdeburg. He studied from 1906 at the Kunstgewerbeschule Magdeburg, and from 1908-10 studied at the Munich Academy with Angelo Jank.

    Then at the Weimar Academy with Max Thedy, Fritz Mackensen and Ludwig von Hoffmann, 1915-18 military service in 1. World War I, 1919 move to Munich and student of Franz von Stuck, undertook study trips through Thuringia, East and West Prussia,
