    Walter Geffcken (1872 Hamburg-1950 Kreuth/Rosenheim) was a German painter. From 1889-91, he was a student of the Heinrich Knirr School of Art in Munich. From 1891-94, he studied at the Académie Julian in Paris with Jean-Paul Laurens and Benjamin Constant. He then studied for a long Italy. He was active in Munich in 1905, provided input for the Munich magazine "Youth", and charged the glass Palace in Munich. He was a member of the "Luitpold group" Munich, a member of the National Association of visual Artists of Germany, in the Munich Artists' Association and the Association of Artists of Bavaria. He is represented in art collections in Bonn, Hamburg, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Nuremberg and Wurzburg.Thieme-Becker, Vollmer, Dressler, Bruckmann, Glaspalast catalogs and Internet....
