    'Wendell Brazeau - American (1910-1974) was an American artist and educator who worked in Seattle, Washington. Born in Spokane, on the eastern side of Washington, Brazeau moved to Seattle in 1928 to study art at the University of Washington. Brazeau earned his BFA from the UW in 1933, he then worked for the Boeing airplane company working in illustration and engineering.

    During WWII Brazeau served in the American Armed Forces. After the war Brazeau return to Seattle and earned his MFA from the UW. He went on to take a teaching position at the University of Washington, where he worked as a faculty member until his death in 1974.
