    Studied architecture at the Technical University of Karlsruhe and at the Karlsruhe Art School, here pupil of Ferdinand Keller, then went on various study trips and freelance in Karlsruhe,
    1894-96 in Pforzheim active,

    From 1899 in Bamberg, later in Franconian Switzerland and finally from 1906 in Nuremberg freelance, member of the Allgemeine Deutsche Kunstgenossenschaft, in the Nuremberg Dürerbund and in the Nuremberg artists' cooperative, represented in the Städtische Galerie Nürnberg,

    Created the historical picture The 400 Pforzheimer in the battle of Wimpfen in the town hall of Pforzheim
