    I'd like to submit a biography for William Sharp, as stated in a Random House, NY, Publishers book A Treasury of Stephen Foster. William Sharp was the illustrator for it. I have a copy of the first printing, 1946 which states on the dust cover that "William Sharp began his career as an artist by painting murals and designing stain glass windows in his native Poland. Since his arrival in America, he has illustrated the stories of Ernest Hemingway, Thomas Mann and others. His illustrations for The Diary of Samuel Pepys, The Works of Edgar Allen Poe, and a volume of Dickens has brought him fame. He has made several portfolios of etchings, aquatints, and litho...
