    Wolfgang Leber started his artistic career in 1957 in the class for graphic art of Heinz Weißbrich and Günter Scherbarth at the ‘Meisterschule für das Kunsthandwerk Berlin-Charlottenburg (Master School of the Arts & Crafts Berlin-Charlottenburg)‘ and in 1961 at the College of Fine Arts. Because of the construction of the wall he discontinued his studies and worked from 1962 to 1964 at the Berlin Volksbühne theatre as graphic artist.

    He started working with prints, plastics and also with paintings from 1976 onwards. He started teaching at the College of Advertising and Design in Berlin-Schöneweide from 1974 to 1978. In 1981 he received the Berlin-Price and the National Gallery of Berlin acquire...
