    Wei Xiaoming Born in Baihai, Guangxi Province. In 1982, Wei Xiaoming graduated from the Central Academy of Industrial Arts. Between 1983 and 1985, 'The Black Courser' and 'The Fortitude of One Woman' won the copper medal at 'The Sixth National Art Exhibition', the silver medal at 'The Third National Comic Strip' as well as the gold medal at 'Comic Pictorial'.

    In 1986, after winning a scholarship to the Viennese Royal Academy of Art, Austria he went to Europe to further his education. In 1988, on obtaining his Master"s from the same institute, he was awarded the Austrian prize for an 'Outstanding Contribution to the Arts'.

    In 1993, he produced the large-scale sculpture Tide', Wind, Rhyme and beginning in 1995...
