Born in Jianyang, Fujian Province, Yin Xiong won his Bachelor's degree in Oil Painting in 1988 from the China Academy of Fine Arts under the direction of Professor Hu Zhenyu. At present he is a professional painter at the Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Institute.
