About Yide Ni

    Ni Yide was born in Hang Zhou in 1901, whose pen name is Nita. In 1922 he graduated from West Paintings Department of Shanghai Art School and stayed to teach as an assistant teacher. He joined invention society in 1923, and issued novel, new poem, essay and play on many publications such as Literature Paper and Creation Monthly. He went to Japan and studied painting. When Japanese army encroach Shandong province of China and made "Jinan Tragedy" in 1928, Ni Yide returned our motherland indignantly and taught as a professor at Guangzhou, Wuchang and Shanghai Art School successively.
