  • Biography

    Tsai Yun-Cheng was born in Fujian Province, China. At the age of ten, he emigrated to Philippine with family. He held countless group exhibitions, solo exhibitions, and circuital exhibitions from 1976 to 2001. His early style was influenced by Fauvism; however, transformed to blue and white abstract painting after 1971. In 1990, he received the "Peace Award" from Einstein Science Foundation in America. In 1996, he became the only awarded Chinese artist in Rubens International Art Festival that was held on France 400th Independence Day.
