Lee Yung-Han was born in Taiwan. After graduating from National Taiwan Normal University, he entered École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts, majoring in sculpture and embossment. Lee aggressively learned Western skills of painting and sculpture; moreover, his artistic style and achievement receive high appraisal in French art field. Lee has won numerous prizes, such as 1974 Paris Spring Salon Gold Prize (painting department), 1984 Paris Spring Salon Silver Prize (sculpture department). In Paris Salon Exhibition, he was elected into the three-year-system judge group for three times (2000, 2003, 2006), and was the only judge coming from Asia.
