    Zbigniew Jaskierski was a Polish artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with Prof. Eugeniusz Eibisch, from whom he obtained his diploma. He taught at his alma mater from 1957 until his death in a plane crash. Known for his vibrant colors and dynamic abstract compositions, Jaskierski won the Gold Medal at the 1st Festival of Polish Contemporary Painting in Szczecin in 1962. He had a solo exhibition at the Krzywe Kolo Gallery in 1964 and participated in significant collective exhibitions in Poland during the 1960s. Additionally, he represented Poland at international exhibitions, such as the 2nd Youth Biennial in Paris in 1961.
