    Wu Zheng, also known as Wu Botao Zhongzi, was a Chinese painter born in Lusiwan, Zhejiang Province. Wu Zheng was known for his refined depictions of flowers, especially plum blossoms, and for his calligraphy in cursive script. His work reflects a deep engagement with literati traditions and an elegant, restrained brush style.

    Wu Zheng was associated with a prominent circle of Shanghai-area artists in the early twentieth century. Together with Wu Hufan, Wu Zishen, and Feng Chaoran, he was referred to as “Three Wus and One Feng,” a grouping that underscored their shared artistic lineage and influence.
