Our family lived only a few streets away in Brooklyn from the house he occupied with my grandmother and my great- grandmother. I knew my Uncle Carle from about 1945 (when I was five years old) until his death on April 21, 1968. Our family lived only a few streets away in Brooklyn from the house he occupied with my grandmother and my great- grandmother.
